John has more than 200 magazine covers to his credit, and his advertising photography has appeared in a number of publications, including Outside, Shape, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Runner’s World and Cooking Light.

But whether he’s shooting for a magazine art director or a corporate client (he has shot for Cannondale, PowerBar, Sutter Home Wines, Shimano, Colavita Olive Oil, GU Sports, Under Armour and Jelly Belly), John brings a unique eye and a mastery of lighting to both editorial and commercial photography. Of course, his work speaks for itself.

Note: John is fearless, often shooting in reverse from the back of a motorcycle or clinging to the side of a cliff. Good thing his wife isn’t the worrying type.
